From 1996 to 2005, Walls Communications had an ongoing relationship with the NAACP and its leadership. During this noted Civil Rights organization’s Annual Conferences in Charlotte, Atlanta, New York City, New Orleans, Houston, Miami, Milwaukee and Washington, DC, a Walls Communications team provided the NAACP with a full array of communication services that included the development and production of a daily convention newsletter and radio broadcast production services.
Additionally, the firm coordinated a series of satellite media tours (SMTs) that featured former Presidents Kweisi Mfume and Bruce Gordon as well as former Board Chairman Julian Bond. Walls Communications also conceptualized and managed an award-winning advertising and public relations campaign for the NAACP’s “Southern States Voter Project 2000” initiative.
